This is a conversation recorded at the inaugural Fortress Forum, part of the 2024 installment of Fortress Festival held in Scarborough, UK on June 1st and 2nd.

Gaerea is a Portuguese black metal band that emerged in 2016. Known for their atmospheric and intense sound, they have built a formidable reputation off the back of their intense live performances, and unique blend of raw aggression and melancholic melodies.
