This week, I'm honoured to host a true icon: Roger Miret, the legendary frontman of New York hardcore pioneers Agnostic Front.  We dive deep into the band's highly anticipated upcoming album, Echoes In Eternity (out November 7th), the making of the phenomenal 2017 documentary The Godfathers Of Hardcore, and the stories behind four decades of NYHC grit and glory.
On the Weekly News Rant, I round up the latest singles by Paganizer, Blut Aus Nord, Samael, Miasmata, Hellripper and others for judgment.  Plus, my take on Megadeth covering Metallica on their farewell record, dorks asking their comrades’ opinion on whether a band is “sketch” and more.
PLUS, Bozeman, Montana’s Galvanist bring the pain on this week’s Unsanctioned Filth segment.

Death metal legend and one of my favourite guests to ever appear on the show, Chris Pervelis (Internal Bleeding), makes a triumphant return for a bourbon and red wine-fueled, no-holds-barred catch-up. We dive deep into the writing and recording of Internal Bleeding’s blistering new album “Settle All Scores”, then spiral into several unhinged tangents including the secret to a perfect steak, the unholy roar of muscle cars, Chris’s take on Black Sabbath’s final bow, and why we both secretly wish we’d majored in economics.

On the Weekly News Rant, Nathan Glover from Graveir - freshly signed to Apocalyptic Witchcraft Records - joins me to dissect brand-new tracks from The Ruins of Beverast, Veilburner, and Gloriously Depraved, plus we deliver the definitive verdict on Testament’s ballsy “Seek and Destroy” cover.

On the Weekly News Rant, new tracks by Blood Red Throne, Darvaza, Phobocosm, Thron and others are rounded up for review.  I weigh in on Aaron Stainthorpe’s exit from My Dying Bride, the Andrew Lee saga.  PLUS, a Reddit coward earns a triple-dunk dip on my Swirly Of The Week.
